The Air Jordan Brand has been at the top of its game this year by opening up its vault to revamp retro releases with great fanfare. The famous footwear line has been setting new releases for this year and is also seeing into the next year for their grand retro releases. One of its most classic pairs from their past has to be the Air Jordan 13 from Michael Jordan's final legendary championship run.
The new upcoming iteration of the iconic Air Jordan 13 is known as "Del Sol" and is set to debut early next year, according to sneaker insider zsneakerheadz when shared the mockups on Instagram. The updated take sees the sneaker in an official "University Gold" colorway as it comes dressed in a white, black, and yellow color scheme. The revamped kicks also take quite a few cues from the classic and original "True Red" as it swaps the accents of bold red from the suedes for the bright yellow.
The new model of the Air Jordan 13 mockups suggests smooth quilted white leather over the upper panels. The most prominent feature the mockup presented was the vibrant yellow tone for the "Del Sol" that appears over on the suede overlays and heel space, showing it off as a highlight in the design. Ultimately, the sneaker classic keeps true to its OG design as we also get to see hints of red show up in the signature Jumpman branding over on the tongue of the shoe and an outsole decked out in black rubber.
The Air Jordan 13 "Del Sol" will hit shelves next year in January/February at select retailers and Nike's official website. The retail price tag for the sneaker is noted to run about $190 for now.
