Skater brand Vans has announced that they have chosen three-time Grammy winner and Cali native Anderson .Paak to be the brand's first  Global Music Ambassador. This partnership was built from the passion that both VANS and Anderson .Paak for creative expression through art and music while uplifting communities around the globe.

 The Vans x Anderson .Paak collection will feature footwear and accessories inspired by Anderson's California roots. The collaboration's vibes go hand in hand with Paak's Cali inspired albums Venice and Malibu's sounds. The two-piece footwear drop will include the Old Skool DX, which pays homage to Ander's debut album Venice. 

The Venice themed sneaker debuts psychedelic patterns giving depth and texture to the design, accompanied by bright, bold colors. The second shoe is based on his album "Malibu," features embordered uppers, contrast black laces, a Flying-V logo on each shoe side, and a unique tongue label message from Paak.

The collection also includes two bucket hats, both channeling the pattern styling from the matching footwear.

Paak's deep love for VANS stems from when Anderson was an employee for the brand at one of the retail locations in Topanga Canyon, California.

The Vans x Anderson .Paak collection will be available worldwide on November 13th on the VANS website and select retailers.
