After receiving submissions from contestants in over 140 countries, 23-year-old Italian photographer Gabriella Cigliano claims the grand prize of Photographer of the Year.

Cigliano's entry, entitled "Big Sister," was captured on her iPhone X. The photo was an ode to her time spent in Zanzibar, Africa. The photograph truly showcases the power behind Apples' breakthrough camera features in thru precision balance of composition and color.
