ASICS Delivers the GEL-Preleus in Two New Color Ways

After the GEL-KAYANO 5 OG's most improvements reasonably recently, thanks to Angelo Baque's Awake NY, ASICS took another closer look at their archive. As a result of the nostalgic remix, the brand began to bring back more of its retro sneakers like new releases for the GEL-KAYANO 14.

This rising trend will further into 2021 and establish more of its legacy by releasing two new colorways in the ASICS GEL-Preleus.

The running shoe was initially designed in the 2000s by two geniuses of ASICS, Noriyuki Murai and Toshikazu Kayano. The ASICS GEL-Preleus incorporates gel cushioning and strong design lines with striking wavy details. The creator Kayano drew inspiration from amoebas for the midsole to present a unique look for the sneaker. The upper similarly draws relatively the same themes and inspiration with movements of clouds in the sky. These exceptional visual details neatly differentiate from the rest of the ASICS sneaker models.

The silhouette is being offered in two colorways "Aizuri Blue" and "Camel Beige." The "Aizuri Blue" blends bright tones of ocean blue with accents of metallic silver. "Camel Beige," however, incorporates a mix of wheat and tan hues with few subtle pops of bright pink.

These unique colorways carry black mid-foot Tiger stripes that smoothly fade into a curved overlay extending to the toe cap. Other interesting details include the few small branded hits around the collar and on the tongues.

Both the ASICS GEL-Preleus colorways "Aizuri Blue" and "Camel Beige" are now available for grabs on ASICS.com and select retailers. Each sneaker retails for about $116, so cop a pair for yourself right now.
