It’s hard to think of any other actor playing the Iconic X-Men Character, Wolverine, but back in 2000 when the original X-Men Series was premiering in the Box Office, we could have had a completely different actor as Wolverine. Dougray Scott decided to back out of filming the 2000 X-Men movie to cast as Sean Ambrose from Mission Impossible 2, and the role was given to a very green Hugh Jackman. The role of Wolverine was just the beginning of Hugh’s career, and if it wasn’t for Scott’s decision to leave for another film, Jackman might not be as big of a star as he is today. The role of Wolverine was the role of a lifetime for Hugh Jackman and launched him into the world of stardom he craved for over 17 years before passing the mantle of Wolverine to a new actor. As of now, only rumors of who will be the next Wolverine have been rooted on the internet, but nothing concrete will be announced till Disney’s Marvel adds the X-Men to the Main Avengers timeline.
Who do you think will be the next Wolverine? Let us know in the comments below :)
