The highly coveted Nike Air Max 1 collaboration is rumored to be hitting shelves real soon after the news was confirmed thanks to a post by DJ Khaled, the official first look of the CLOT X Nike Air Max 1 "Kiss of Death" 2021 has now released to the public.
One of the most iconic sneaker to ever get released, the legendary collaboration has stirred up massive hype around its release.
The iconic sneaker made its debut way back in 2006 to celebrate the opening of China's first sneaker boutique, ACU. The sneaker comes from the mind of CLOT founder and genius multi-hyphenate Edison Chen, legendary artist MC Yan, and of course, the famous Beaverton brand.
CLOT's founders set off with a mission in this shoe's release, which was to bridge the gaps between East and West, and centered it around the traditional Chinese concept "Qi."

The iconic sneaker is now set to make its comeback after 15 years since its original release. The color scheme is also pretty unique from today's standard, with the shoe designed around the "Net/Deep Red/Orange Blazer" mix yet again. The upper boasts a pretty clean beige, while the rest of the shoe is painted with vibrant hues all over.

The colorway is displayed in suede and a soft orange tone on the ostrich skin heel. Bright red accents also arrive on the tongue and the snakeskin Swoosh that beautifully extends to the lateral and medial sides.

The sneaker's masterminds also introduce the ancient Chinese art of pressure point reflexology printed on the sneakers' transparent insoles. But, probably the best part of CLOT's Nike Air Max 1 that makes it a one-of-a-kind sneaker to have is that the toe box is made from see-through TPU.
