Destiny has always been a game with small bits of console content exclusivity. Usually its a PvP map or two, An Exotic gun, or a strike. With the launch of Forsaken Last Year, PlayStation players received the ability to get an Exotic called Wavesplitter. This weapon actually leaked by accident recently to the Xbox and PC communities. Usually the exclusive content takes a year or so before it gets released on the nonexclusive platforms but this weapon somehow slipped through the loot pool cracks and was available for Xbox and PC players. Bungie has since addressed the issue saying; "Xbox and PC players who acquired the weapon will be able to use it, But not until they are formally released to those platforms. For the time being they will remain locked and unequipable in your inventory." Its neat that they are allowing those that got it to keep it but it kinda sucks they wont get to use it until its released to those platforms. Bungie has announced that the weapon will be released in September of 2019 which might drop around the same time as another large content drop like forsaken, That is if they have kept the same release schedule as the last few years while they were partnered with Activision.
