Eminem Drops New Music Video Highlighting Gun Violence and Mental Health

8-Mile rapper Marshall Mathers drop the first music video "Darkness" from his new album "Music To Be Murdered By."

"Darkness" depicts Eminem as the Las Vegas October 1 shooter Stephen Paddock and the chaotic state of mind that he may have been in before unleashing one of the deadliest massacres in US history.

With the motive still unknown as to why Paddock opened fire on attendees of the Route 91 harvest music festival in Las Vegas, killing 58 people, not including himself, The Rap God focuses on the struggles of mental health and gun safety laws.

"Cops are knockin', oh, f---, thought I blocked the entrance/ Guess show time is over/ No suicide note, just a note for target distance/ But if you'd like to know the reason why I did this/You'll never find a motive, truth is I have no idea/ I am just as stumped, no signs of mental illness/ Just tryin' to show ya the reason why we're so f---ed/'Cause by the time it's over, won't make the slightest difference."

"I got ammo for all the hecklers, I'm armed to the teeth ... Finger on the trigger, but I'm a licensed owner / with no prior convictions, so loss, the sky's the limit"

At the end of the controversial video Em, urges people to register to vote to "help change gun laws in America" as news clips covering the hundreds of gun violence incidents that have happened in the US over the last few years.
