Retired New England Patriots superstar Rob Gronkowski has bought a stake of Abacus Health Products and has agreed to promote the brands CBD products.

This deal comes after Gronk shares how he used CBD products to combat pain. During a press conference, Gronk stated that after using CBDMEDIC he was "blown away with how well it worked. I am pain-free, and that is a big deal."

Gronkowski told CBS Boston "I needed to recover. I was not in a good place. Football was bringing me down, and I didn't like it."

The decision to retire early came after the former tight-end suffered from a string of injuries during his high-profile NFL career.

The NFL has a cannabis ban that extends to CBD use even though many products are hemp-based, which does not contain THC, which is the component that gets you high.
