Jim Belushi Launches Blues Brothers Cannabis Brand

John Belushi first made his Blues Brother debut alongside Dan Aykroyd on SNL in the late 1970s. Due to their SNL success, the duo joined forces to create their first Blues Brother movie after fans couldn't get enough of the comedic teams SNL Live skits.

In the last week, Jim Belushi, brother of the late John Belushi, announced that he would be producing an entire Blues Brother Cannabis Brand. This announcement came during Belushi's 3rd Harvest Party to Benefit Johnny Wheels, who is an Oregon jazz musician in need of a specially outfitted wheelchair.

Before the launch of the Blues Brothers Cannabis Brand, many have been in the dark about Belushis sprawling cannabis estate in the Pacific Northwest. Belushi Farms sits on 93 - acres in a town called Eagle Point located in Southern Oregon.

Jim started this sprawling cannabis farm after being unable to grow in his native state of Illinois. With recent lawmakers approving recreational cannabis in Illinois in 2020, Jim plans to expand his Belushi Farms Cannabis brand in Illinois as well.

Belushi has been selling cannabis now for over three years under Captain Jack and Belushi's Private Vault brands. Under the Blue Brothers brand, Jim aspires to take his brand to a national level with his eyes set, mainly on California and Nevada markets.
