Ben Askren was the victim to the fastest knockout in UFC history at the hands of Jorge Masvidal in UFC 239 at Las Vegas's Tmobile Arena. Masvidal delivered a flying knee to Askren's temple immediately knocking the lightweight contender. After the fight, Askren was transported by ambulance to a nearby Las Vegas hospital where Drs performed a CT scan to make that everything was ok after the victorious blow. Dr's cleared the fighter of any severe injury. Askren states in a recent interview that "I remember being in the cage with him," Askren said. "I don't really remember the flying knee. And then when I [could] recall, I remember everything. I was like, 'Oh s---, I lost to Jorge Masvidal. This freakin' sucks.'"
