Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers, 31-20 in SuperBowl 54. This marks Kansas City's first championship is 50 years.
The Chiefs were down 10 - points in the fourth quarter when Chiefs quarterback 24- year old Patrick Mahomes brought his team to victory with two passing touchdowns and 286 yards in the air passes.
During SuperBowl 54, Mahomes 24, became the youngest player in NFL history to capture a Superbowl win and the regular season MVP.
The Superbowl 54 MVP now joins greats such and Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger to hold the Lombardi Trophy before reaching their 25th birthdays.

Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid has finally clutched his long-overdue championship making this his 222 win of his coaching career. This was Reid's second Superbowl appearance of his expansive NFL career.
When asked by a reporter how Reid felt in this moment Reid stated:
"I'm really excited," Reid said. "You get one, you want to go get another one, but we got to backpedal for about a minute here and enjoy this one and we'll get busy on the next one."
