Lil Uzi Vert and Nas Headline Heron Preston’s New Calvin Klein Campaign

Let's be clear about one thing in the fashion world. Heron Preston knows how to set new trends and make a big impression, as shown by how he launched his Calvin Klein Collection.

The Brooklyn-based fashion artistic genius has taken inspiration from the label's long legacy and cast a roster of celebrity faces in the campaign for his new collection. This lineup of celebrity faces is also a nod to Calvin Klein's eye-popping ads from the 1990s with memorable ads with Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss.

Preston's campaign features a list of trendsetters, including Lil Uzi Vert, Nas, and Kaia Gerber. Attracting star talent and leading a fashion collection campaign seems to be Calvin Klein's fundamental formula. Recent years have seen enlisting the Kardashians to make quite the splash and create a widespread movement.

The campaign has also enlisted celebrity rappers such as Lil Uzi Vert and Nas to create buzz, as followers of the rappers closely track their antics. Rappers like A$AP Rocky, who was the face of an underwear advertisement back in 2019, have made a name for themselves by headlining fashion advertisements in the fashion world.

"I just wanted to find a common language that appeals to a global audience," Heron Preston said in a statement about the Spring/Summer 2021 campaign. "One that does not alienate but rather welcomes you into this world of simplicity, eliminating ambiguity and allowing you to explore your style through the comfort and help of the garments."

Heron Preston's first Calvin Klein set will be available on the official website on April 23. The collection's primary piece colors include black, white, chalk, rinse blue, orange, blue, mud, natural, olive, and heather grey. The items featured in the campaign worn by Nas and Lil Uzi Vert were all purposefully crafted from a genderless perspective.

Just in case you missed it, A Look Supreme X South2 West8 Spring 2021 Collection.
