American Eagle joins Lil Wayne on styling and adapting Gen X. American Eagle evolved this collaboration when they partnered with Las Vegas-based streetwear consignment shop Urban Necessities as they opened a store in American Eagles SoHo space this past Spring.

While American Eagle has been a staple in suiting the teens of America American Eagle's creative director Michael Goldberg knew upon joining the brand in 2017 that it was time to embrace the individuality and creativity of Gen X customers and it would take a culture icon to do so.
