Mario Golf is Coming back with the Launch of Mario Golf: Super Rush

Let's Go! Nintendo revealed that a new Mario Golf game is coming to the Nintendo Switch, and the craze is nuts.

This game will be the sixth installation in the golf series and its first appearance since Mario Golf 'World Tour' was released on the Nintendo 3DS back in 2014. But the most surprising fact amidst all of these announcements is that this will be the first home console Mario Golf game since 2003 when it was released for the GameCube. To say that we as fans of the series are excited would be a slight understatement.

Super Rush is gearing up to be one of the largest Switch releases of the year, judging from Nintendo's February Direct presentation. The Mario sports game is set to feature some exciting game modes to play through and could very well be one of the best multiplayer games for the console. The game will also boast its own story mode to play with your own customizable Mii Character.

The official Mario Golf 'Super Rush' trailer for the video game puts you up on a ton of useful information for the new release. The two-minute video clip shows off the game's characters, features, and game modes. It features an impressive line of classic characters that are confirmed to appear in the game, such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Bowser, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, and Yoshi as playable figures.

The game's official website also makes a mention of King Bob-Omb remarking that "King Bob-Omb can pelt the course with bombs," giving us the notion that King Bob-Omb may be a functional character in the title.

Mario Golf: Super Rush is slated for a June 25, 2021, release but could be delayed because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Switch users can pre-order the game right now from the Nintendo shop. If you arent a Switch user, peep the Mario Golf: Super Rush official website for more information.

Fortnite will launch an in-game short film festival, 'Short Nite,' inside Party Royale. Learn when and how to tune in.
