Former NFL Super Bowl Champion and running back for the Seattle Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch, has launched his new premium cannabis product line named "Dodi Blunts." Dodi Blunts is a crafted cannabis brand that features products infused with highly potent THCa diamonds.
Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch has never been shy to profit from the image he created for himself in the NFL of who he is and what he represents and intends to do precisely that with his creative business plan in the cannabis industry. The Oakland native sees the marijuana space as something to take advantage of because the industry can provide for communities of color.
"And at the end of the day, the industry has the ability to raise up Black and Brown communities—and I intend to lift up those who I can. Plus, Dodi allows me to share with the world. What gets me (and my fam) in our zone, so others can get on my level," Marshawn Lynch said in a statement via Las Vegas's 8 News Now.
Jeff Goldenberg, a founder of the partner company 2nd and Goal Ventures, tells 8 News Now, "Dodi Blunts challenges the traditional concept of 'Game Day' rituals and hopes to promote and normalize the relationship between sports and cannabis cultures."
Before the Oakland Raiders now the Las Vegas Raiders moved from the Oakland Coliseum to their new home in the "City of Sin" Beast Mode was filmed lighting a blunt with the Al Davis Memorial Torch.
When asked about it, Lynch said, "It was only right to send the Raiders off in a real Oakland way."
