Meow Wolf's: Omega Mart

Omega mart, the famous interactive art experience, is revealed at the 200,000-square-foot retail and entertainment district Area 15 in Las Vegas.

Omega Mart is going to be the second permanent installation of the arts and entertainment company Meow Wolf. The newest Las Vegas Omega mart is more of an art exhibition than an ordinary grocery market. It is a visual treat for the eyes with a purely psychedelic immersive artistic experience. More than 325 international and local artists are said to have been featured who have created more than 250 beautifully jaw-dropping art projects in the exhibition.

The Santa Fe, N.M.-based Meow Wolf, provides a platform for artists to showcase their zany art items in their exhibition. Accompanying the famous art exhibition will be four themed areas and 60 incredibly unique environments. The arts and entertainment company also arranges arts and music festivals, music videos, and streaming entertainment.

A press release announcing the opening describes the popular Omega Mart as "America's Most Exceptional Grocery Store". It vows to transform a simple visit to the local neighborhood market into a "satisfying, psychedelic and totally unpredictable immersive art experience." The interactive storytelling art adventure will appeal to people of all ages.

Co-founder and executive creative director of Meow Wolf Las Vegas Corvus Brinkerhoff says:

"The show here in Las Vegas is really a social commentary on consumerism, corporate culture, and environmental stewardship, and it's what we call an alternative storytelling environment, it's mission is driven by conveying a story to the audience."

Omega Mart will be open to the public on Feb 18, with tickets available online are $45 for general admission with a $10 discount for Nevada residents. Due to Covid-19, Area-15 will enforce mandated restrictions and require the wearing of masks to enter it while operating at a 25% capacity.
