February's most significant occasion, Valentine's Day, is right around the corner, whether you like it or not.  So rather you're solo-dolo or have a significant other who particularly has an interest in kicks, then  Nike's annual drop the Air Force 1 Valentine's Day for 2021 is worth taking a look at to celebrate the day of Love. 

This year's Valentine's Day inspired sneaker isn't as over the top compared to Nike's previous Valentine's Day-themed sneaker releases. The white and red leathers' super-simple design execution with a mixture of pink suedes makes up the shoe base alongside heart-shaped perforations on the lateral side. 

The trademarked Swoosh and midsole smartly contrast each other maintaining the theme of Valentine's Day. Over on the sneaker's heel side is the classic Nike Air graphic with a touch of Love added in the form of a small heart placed over the "i" in Air.

One of the most exciting yet vital detail to note in this sneaker is its unique tongue tags. Nike added a light pink fabric tag over each tongue with a snap button to hold the fabric in place. When the snap is released, it unveils a special love note inside that reads as "True Love Since '82," which is a nod towards the Air Force 1 debut year. The right shoe sports an "AF1 4Ever" graphic on the inside. These tributes to the classic Air Force 1 set these Valentine's Day-themed sneakers apart from all the rest.

To add this symbol of Love to your collection of kicks, then you can do so on February 6 on nike.com or at select retail partners of Nike. Copping this sneaker on its release will retail for $130.
