Nike sure does have its habits of revisiting the past and going all old school on us but let's be fair, can we even blame them that they have so many stunning classic sneakers in their catalog. We certainly can't! Now, as Nike shows its love for basketball and its silhouettes from the 90s, it seems to be bringing back the Nike Air More Uptempo "Renowned Rhythm".
The sneaker imprint revisits the newer "White/Varsity Red" iteration of the Nike Air More Uptempo released back in May of 2018. The classic "golden era" version of the sneaker was a hit with the audience and instantly became another classic for the company. The design of this shoe is utterly remarkable, and the branding goes a long way in establishing its image.

Nike Air More Uptempo “Renowned Rhythm”
Color: White/Varsity Red-White
Style Code: 921948-102
Release Date: April 15, 2021
Price: $160

The giant "Air" branding on the lateral side showcases a marvelous aesthetic by being a nod to Scottie Pippen's on-court swagger and takes you back to the young and outspoken 90s style in footwear. The shoe even displays the raw attitude of basketball back in the day as well. By presenting smooth leather and smart use of colors on the sneaker, the "renowned rhythm" shoe speaks volumes for the culture back in the 90s.

The color scheme is derived smoothly from the Chicago Bulls, with the predominantly clean white image on the pair's upper unit. The traditional Swoosh branding from Nike also makes its mark across the shoe.
Although visually, the Nike Air More Uptempo "Renowned Rhythm" is more than incredible, the shoe does weigh heavy, clocking in at around 17 ounces. So, it might not be the best choice for the game itself, but let's be honest, are we really interested in buying this to play on the court or rep it the best way we can.

You can cop the sneaker for yourself when it releases on April 15th for $160 at select retailers and Nike.com.
