The teases of a CLOT x Polo Ralph collab are over as CLOT Founder Edison Chen takes the lead on merging the famous fashion label from Hong Kong with one of America's classic brands Polo Ralph Lauren. Chen intends to bridge the East and West in a sneak peek tease from a post on his Instagram page. 

This collaboration came as no surprise as in late December last year, Edison and the CLOT label announced a partnership with the Jordan Brand to release the Air Jordan 35 and Air Jordan 14 Low, rumored to arrive in early 2021. 

With Lunar New Year happening on February 12, 2021, Edison takes the time to highlight Chinese heritage in the new collection by recreating some of Ralph Lauren's classic silhouettes.

The collection will include Polo classics like chambray shirts, chinos, oxford button-downs,  windbreakers, and more featuring twists to pay homage to traditional garments of heritage in China like the collections use of frog button closures. Staying true to POLO stylings, each piece will don Polo's iconic red pony logo.

Though complete project details are currently unavailable, Edison's caption suggests it's a big step for the HongKong based label. He writes, "@poloralphlauren by @clot [DYNASTY / a legend born]

In a message on CLOT's online store this collaboration:
"The partnership pays homage to CLOT's Chinese heritage and Ralph Lauren's signature American styles through thoughtfully-designed apparel that can be dressed up or down."

There's no doubt this won't be the last time we see a partnership between the fashion houses for another project of this magnitude. No official pricing has been released for the collection yet, but the collection is expected to hit the online JuiceStore on January 27, 2021, at midnight PST.
