One of Reebok's most beloved and renowned silhouettes from its long history of releases is set to be resurrected for another prestigious run. The Reebok Pump Omni Zone II celebrates its three-decade run, beginning with basketball's high flyer Dee Brown wearing these soles to perform the iconic dunk at the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
The distinguished heritage of the sneaker was first celebrated earlier this year in March when Reebok reissued the legendary Pump Omni Zone II "No Look Dunk." The sneaker brand will now expand the celebratory run with the unveiling of the iconic white colorway for the Pump Omni Zone II, capitalizing on the shoe's 30th anniversary.

Paul Litchfield and his design team developed the iconic Pump device from the sneaker juggernaut in the 1980s, later brought to market in 1989. The introduction of the kick was one of the most important in sneaker history. It was the first shoe to feature an internal inflation mechanism, which helped control the specific cushion fit. The sneaker went on to rule the basketball court for the better part of the 1990s, even though it cost about $170 at the time.

To speak for the retro white sneakers' style, they have been formed uniquely with smooth leather on the upper with mesh underlays that are cleverly contrasted by the black TPU constructed overlay panels. On the tongues, vibrant orange hits are seen over the pump basketball button, which features an air bladder to provide wearers with a customized fit, eye stays, and Reebok branding. Finally, the model is completed by a white Hexalite cushioned midsole and a multicolored outsole.
