Samsung has officially announced the new Galaxy Unpacked Event set to happen on August 5th, 2020, at 10 am EST. The unpacking event will unveil the Galaxy Note 20 lineup for the android brand.
The Samsung teaser trailer doesn't give much insight into what you can expect from the event. One thing that does stand out to us is that the copper-colored phone featured in the 15-second trailer matches leaks of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that appeared on Samsung's Russian website at the beginning of July.
Unlike Samsung's smartphone counterpart Apple, Samsung has managed to keep rumors and major leaks at bay even with the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 unveiling just around the corner.
A few things we expect from the Galaxy Note 20 flagship lineup are two sizing options with the Galaxy Note 20 being the smaller option and the Galaxy Note Ultra being a bit larger but no official details on the difference in size.
We are looking for a notable specs upgrade to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 865 Ultra. This upgrade is similar to the S20 lineup giving the new flagship devices a 120Hz display option as well as making 5G a default. Let's not forget the S20 will feature an S-Pen with a few new tricks added to its capabilities to keep things fresh we are guessing.
In addition to the new flagship line's announcement, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is rumored to be making its debut during the August event, but this has not been officially confirmed by Samsung, which seems to be the brand MO.
