Seth Rogen Announces New Weed Brand: Houseplant

Now let's be honest, we were expecting this to happen at some point in time but, that doesn't mean it still isn't exciting as hell! One of this generation's funniest Hollywood stars and proclaimed weed lover Seth Rogen has launched his very own cannabis brand in the US called Houseplant

When the announcement was made, people have quickly spread the word about Rogen having a weed brand, and they were unsurprisingly losing their minds trying to figure out how to cop Rogen's buds. To give you some insight into how much people were in a frenzy from the news, the weed brand site was launched immediately after the announcement crashed due to too much traffic.

Star of famous movies such as 50/50, This is the End, Knocked Up, and iconic stoner comedy movie Pineapple Express, Seth Rogen announced that he is launching the cannabis brand alongside friend and partner Evan Goldberg.

"I'm Seth Rogen. And if you know anything about me at all, I'm going to assume it's that I really love weed," he said. "But what I think you probably don't know about me is that I have been working on my own weed company for the last ten years. And we are finally ready to launch in America."

The iconic stoner/funnyman promises his fans that consume are guaranteed the very best of weed strains. These weed strains are hand-picked and even smoked by the movie star himself, he proclaims.

Rogen turned to social media about the first strain dubbed "Pancake ice" inspired by his stoner movie Pineapple Express that he starred in with pal James Franco.

Houseplant will come in three flower strains, two Sativa's and one Indica. Houseplant products will be available in select California stores starting March 11.
