Sneaker Con Dates For Vancouver and Cleveland Released

Sneaker-head brothers Alan and Barris Vinogradov, and their partner Yu-Ming Wu are back at it in 2020 after hosting over 1 million attendees in over 40 cities around the world, kicking off the year with Sneaker Con Vancouver and Cleveland dates for 2020.

For those not into the sneaker game, Sneaker Con was created in 2009 after Barris had an easy success selling a pair of Bapestas on Ebay. Sneaker Con provides a space for sneaker-heads from around the world to buy, sell, and trade rare and sought-out sneaker collections.

Vinogradav describes Sneaker Con:

"It's just a real, positive culture and like nothing else in the world. [Sneaker culture] incorporates anything from sports to music to fashion," he says. "From the Sneaker Con aspect, we've created a place where young kids can come and learn to do business. It's like business school, but outside of the classroom. So it's really a place for all ages."

That influence is growing worldwide

Sneakers' innovative designs have linked fashion, music, celebrities, and athletes together to make sneakers a culture must-have. Some of the rarest and most sought after sneakers have become a symbol of status in the same way as designer handbags.

For those wanting to learn more about the culture and Sneaker Con provides panel from industry leaders touching on various topics on authenticity, new drops, history of sneakers, and the art of the sneaker selling game.

Trading Pit: Buy and Sell

Sneaker Con's Trading Pit, is where attendees can buy, sell, and trade. "The most interesting thing about Sneaker Con is that if you want to get into the resale game but you don't have enough shoes to purchase a whole table, you can bring them to the trading pit," says Vinogradov.

Are the shoes legit?

Sneaker Con will also authenticate kicks for you. While attending any Sneaker Con, you can stop by the authentication booth and grab an RFID tag. With this tag, you will be able to add your find to Sneaker Con' s marketplace through an app available via IOS devices on the App Store. "So you know you're always buying something legit," says Vinogradov.
