Snoop Dogg Drops New Album 'From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites'

Snoop Dogg adds to his already impressive discography by launching a new album for cannabis smokers everywhere on April 20. The iconic weed rapper avoided the usual Friday album release in order to give his fans something to blast on the occasion of 420. The rapper's most recent album, titled 'FROM THA STREETS 2 THA SUITES,' was released as a special gift to his fans by Doggystyle Records.

The album consists of ten tracks, all of which have that OG Cali G-funk drip all over them. All ten tracks transported us back to the Doggfather's early days of weed and gangster rap, a distinguishing feature of Snoop and helped popularize it in the 1990s. The tracks also feature G-funk-style rappers and longtime Snoop collaborators, including Big Tray Deee, KoKane and Devin the Dude and Tha Eastsidaz, and Goldie Loc.

The majority of the tracks have a chill smoke vibe to them, just like weed itself, which Snoop Dogg champions more than anyone else. With songs like "Left My Weed" and "Roaches in My Ashtray," there's no doubt in our minds that this album was made to be played while smoking to vibe out to while smoking that Cookies x Snoop Dogg strain.

Snoop also released a single and music video from the album, "Look Around," to coincide with the album's April 20 release.

In addition to the album release, Snoop Dogg hosted a Weedmaps live stream event called "Even Higher Together," co-hosted by A$AP Rocky and Jhene Aiko, with appearances from Wiz Khalifa, G-Eazy, Rapsody, and others.
