Comedy Central's South Park announces an hour-long episode surrounding the coronavirus. "The Pandemic Special" is set to air Wednesday, September 30th, at 8 p.m. ET.
Like many other episodes, the Season 24 kick-off was written, produced, and edited by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The Pandemic Special trailer starts with a frantic Cartman yelling, "They're going to try and make us go to school. Do you really want to go back to that slavery?" at Kyle about returning to school during COVID-19.
The trailer then breaks to South Park Elementary, where kids desks are separated by six feet with plastic shields to prevent the virus's spread as the class begins taught by Detective Harris.

A synopsis released by Comedy Central about the episodes reads,
"Randy comes to terms with his role in the COVID-19 outbreak as the on-going pandemic presents continued challenges to the citizens of South Park. The kids happily head back to school but nothing resembles the normal that they once knew; not their teachers, not their homeroom, not even Eric Cartman."
Comedy Central renewed South Park season through 2022, so this is just the beginning of the fuckary from Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Randy, and Cartman. Last fall, Comedy Central renewed South Park through 2022.
