One of the mind's most incredible tortures is having a song lyrics stuck in your head on repeat and not remember the name of the song when you need a fix of the verse stuck in your head. Well, Spotify wants to rid you of this problem with a new search by lyrics feature now available on IOS and Android devices.

Spotify designer Lin Wang took to her Twitter account to announce the new feature to the Twitterverse. 

While this is a useful feature, it is not the first time we have seen this feature. Apple beat Spotify to the punch with their version of lyric matching that became available to Apple Music users in 2018. 

Spotify's lyric match is not the only lyric related feature that the platform has made available to its users recently. Back in June, Spotify launched a real-time music option with the support from Musixmatch into 26 markets.
