Supreme x Pat McGrath Labs Join to Release New Lipstick

Iconic streetwear brand Supreme is taking a leap into beauty with a new collaboration with makeup powerhouse Pat McGrath Labs binding the force of beauty and streetwear together.

In a recent announcement, Pat McGrath Labs confirmed they would be launching an exclusive single lipstick in Supreme's signature red called "SUPREME," developed from Pat McGrath's MatteTrance hyper-pigmented lipstick formula. This partnership marks Supreme's first beauty launch in the brand's 26-year history.

No different from any other Supreme drop, the lipstick will be sold exclusively on Supreme's website with the launch happening somewhere within its Fall/Winter 2020 release. With no official release date confirmed, people can sign up for a notification on Pat McGrath's website for updates.

While this is not the first collaboration we have seen between the beauty and streetwear industries, it is a phenomenon that is on the rise over the last couple of years. Beauty brand cross-promotions such as MAC Cosmetics 2005 A Bathing Ape collection and  Estée Lauder and Malin + Goetz 2019 KITH exclusive were some of the first beauty brands to step in the streetwear space successfully setting the tone for more labels to follow.
