On May 6, a new flagship Supreme store in Milan, Italy, opened its doors. The streetwear company pulled out all the stops for the retail store's grand opening, including luxurious furnishing decorations, clean white walls, full-sized ceiling to floor windows, and ironically intricate sculptures by Mark Gonzales artwork by Nate Lowman.
Supreme has gone deep into its catalog of most popular drops to celebrate the store's recent opening in the San Marco neighborhood.
With the launch of the new Milan store came the unveiling of an all-exclusive Box logo shirt. The white cotton tee proudly displays the artwork of Leonardo Da Vinci's famed "Last Supper" as a graphic over on the front, along with the New York Based streetwear brand's classic Futura Font logo. On the back of the tee, we see "GRAZIE," which is Italian for "Thank you."
More than 150 slick adolescent boys and girls flocked to the Milan store's official opening on Thursday at 11 a.m. sharp. The streetwear fans were all waiting for their chance to get their hands on the limited edition "The Last Supper" cotton white shirt. The rumors for the best-selling Supreme concept circulated before the opening, with the streetwear community closely following all the specifics before the famous online shopping website, StockX, announced it. The infamous graphic was previously seen on various hoodies, skateboarding boards, and stickers as part of the streetwear imprint's Fall/Winter 2012 line.
For the time being, the Milan exclusive "The Last Supper" Supreme tee is available in stores before supplies run out and are currently reselling for around $446 on StockX.
