The West Coast Sets The Tone For Cannabis Lounges and Cafes: Part I

On Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 West Hollywood made history with the first opening of a cannabis cafe. The community welcomed the opening of America's first licensed cannabis consumption cafe Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe.

The consumption lounge combined cafe will offer a place for cannabis users to socialize in public while eating/drinking cannabis-infused edibles goods. Wondering if you need to bring your flower, no worries there, Lowell's is also a dispensary. You can purchase an array of products ranging from cannabis drinks, vape pens, dabs, pre-rolls, and cannabis oils, all from the support of your "Flower Hosts." Unfortunately, due to California State law, you will have to bring in your edibles as Lowell does not infuse their foods with cannabis.

Just a small side note for all of those who prefer to bring their consumables, please be aware of the $20 "toke-age" fee for doing so.

Lowell's cannabis chef Andrea Drummer has been wowing our taste pallets throughout Los Angeles for almost a decade. Her approach to Lowell's menu is genuinely unique. Andrea adopted the model of pairing wine to foods to create her model of pairing cannabis to foods.

The Lowell Farms Cafe menu includes salads, sandwiches, snacks such as jalapeno mac and cheese, house chips and guac, an arsenal of sweets like milkshakes and fruity pebbles cheesecake and more. That's right; I'll repeat it, FRUITY PEBBLES CHEESECAKE! Let your inter munchie vibes take ahold of you.

For those ready to jump in the car and check it out, here are a few things you should know. Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe is a 21 and up the establishment. Their hours of operations are from noon to 10 pm daily. Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe: 1201 N La Brea Ave, West Hollywood, CA
