Black Grime OG and Hip-Hop activist "Black the Ripper," was found dead April 6th, 2020, according to the British publication, The Mirror. The North London native was found in his Caribbean home by police authorities motionless and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Commissioner of Police, Steve Foster, said:
"At present, the circumstances of his death is unknown. As a result, the coroner (Chief Magistrate) has ordered a Post Mortem Examination to be conducted on the body of the deceased to determine the cause of death. However, I am unable to say and or give a date at this time of when the autopsy examination will be completed."
Black the Ripper was known as an OG when it comes to the most influential names in grime, with his biggest hits Afro Samurai and Summer Madness date back to 2006.
While the cause of his death is unknown, an autopsy has been ordered by officials.
