Vault by Vans has now announced its latest collaboration, teaming up with the famous Japanese label PORTER by Yoshida & Co.
This is the first-ever collaboration with Vans and the beloved Japanese brand, which has been in operation since 1935. PORTER by Yoshida & Co is well known for its minimalist approach to hard-wearing bags and bright orange details in them.
The Vault by Vans x PORTER collaboration presents us with a new collection that delivers four different silhouettes. The extensive collection combines the monochromatic sophistication of PORTER by Yoshida & Co and the iconic design detailing expected from Vans.
This shoe collection also features the classic bright orange hue on the sidewall and the sock liner of all four silhouettes. The orange tone is also present on the laces and removable side stripes of the sneakers.
Leading the collection are the two OG Old Skool LX pairs in black and forest night color palette. The sneakers feature a distorted checkerboard and the monochromatic aloha/flora print on its medial side of the shoe, accompanied by removable side striped detailing and an ankle cuff.
Also joining the collection are OG Classic Slip-On VLT LX and OG Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX in forest night and black color palettes. Now aside from the footwear, rounding off the whole collection are three unique collaborative accessories complementing it that include a Briefcase, wallet, and a luggage tag.
The Vault by Vans x PORTER collection will be available later this month, starting February 20, 2021, at select retailers and online.
